Amos R. Schultz, Jr. 59, of Valparaiso, passed away Monday, February 11, 2013. He was born August 11, 1953 in Valparaiso, the son of Amos and Helen (Nuss) Schultz; Sr. Amos worked for the water department and was a US Navy Veteran, a life member of the VFW Post 988, the Eagles Lodge #2517 and the American Legion Post 94. He enjoyed doing crosswords, fishing and was a member of various softball leagues over the years. Surviving is his daughter Kendra (fiancé David Riley) Schultz of Phoenix, AZ, his mother Helen Schultz, his sister Amy (Greg) Wiechmann of Greenfield, IN, his brother Doug (Jean) Schultz of Milan, MI. and many nieces and nephews. His wife Lori in 2006, his father and a sister Julie, preceded him in death. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 7:00 PM at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe St, Valparaiso, Pastor Mike Eddy officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, 4 PM until time of services.
