Anna Lorene Johnson, 68 of Lake Station, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017. She was born September 16, 1949 in Columbus, Indiana the daughter of Bernard and Lena (Stoner) Query. Anna was a professional cab driver for over 20 years. She was a member of Valparaiso Baptist Church and attended Calvary w/Pastor Griffin in Thomasville, Georgia. Surviving are her children, Robert Lewis and daughter-in-law Jamie Jenkins, Jr. of Whiting and Melissa Dawn Jenkins and son-in-law Larry Dombrowski, 5 grandchildren, Crystal Jenkins, Tiffiny Jenkins, Sarah Jenkins and Jayden Jenkins and the late Cheyanna Marie Rose Jenkins. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Also surviving are her brothers, James Query of Metropolis, IN and Louis Query of Valparaiso and her sister, Linda (Jerry) Bunker. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald W. (Doug) Johnson, her father, Bernard Query, her mother Lena Stoner Pitts, her step-father Bernard Pitts, sisters, Patty Woynarowski and Virginia Wilson and her brothers Chester Query and Anthony Query. A Memorial Service and Reception will be held Sunday, January 7, 2018, 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Aberdeen Manor, 216 Ballantrae Street, Valparaiso, IN 46385.
