Barbara Anderson, 58 of Valparaiso, passed away, Wednesday, September 21, 2016. She was born April 2, 1958, in Valparaiso, the daughter of Richard and Louise (Edgren) Hendricks. Barbara was a bookkeeper at Grieger Motors in Valparaiso. Surviving are her children, Michael R. Mead of Summerville, SC and Kathleen L. Mead of Valparaiso, her mother Louise Hendricks, 2 grandchildren Syndell and Nora Mead, a brother Leslie (Elaine) Hendricks of Indiana and a sister Virginia Hendricks of Florida. Her father preceded her in death. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, September 26, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe St. Valparaiso. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
