Denelle L. Hawkins, 60 of Lake Station, passed away Monday, May 29, 2017. She was born November 11, 1956 in Hammond, the daughter of Donald and Clela (Hepker) Rea. Denelle was a landscaper at the Supervisor’s Country Club. On April 3, 1984 in Valparaiso, she married Edwin Hawkins, who survives in Lake Station. Also surviving are her children, Michele (Noel) Rosco of Virginia, Stephanie (Norman) Sanders of Portage, Stacey (Jason) Oness of Texas, Michaela (Jerry) Joseph of Kentucky and Katrina Doms of Muncie, 8 grandchildren, a brother, Donald (Feleccia) Rea of Oklahoma and a niece Jasmine Rea of Arkansas. Visitation will be held at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe St, Valparaiso, Saturday, June 3, 2017, 10 AM until time of Funeral Services at 12:00 PM, Pastor Ron Smith officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Valparaiso.
