Dennis Jon Malloy, Sr., 79 of Valparaiso, IN, formerly of Riverdale, IL and Henderson, KY, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer. Dennis was born in Hammond, Indiana on June 28, 1937. He was preceded in death by his wife Diane Schmidt Malloy; his daughter Kathy Stamp; father Walter Malloy; mother Genevieve Downing Malloy and brother, Tommy. Dennis is survived by children: Larry, Tom, Kim, Patty and Dennis, Jr. (Max) and a large extended family including 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation for Dennis will be held Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 10 AM to 2PM at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe St, Valparaiso, IN. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Kurt Nichols officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to New Song Fellowship United Methodist Church, 212 Lincolnway, Valparaiso, IN 46383
