Ellen M. Dondlinger, 88 of Valparaiso, passed away, Monday, December 26, 2017. She was born June16, 1929, the daughter of Louis and Irene (Snyder) Oster. Ellen was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Valparaiso. On November 28, 1948 in Valparaiso, she married Arnold Dondlinger, who preceded her in death. Surviving are her daughters, Mary (David) Carlson of Wisconsin, Janet (William) Bohling of Valparaiso and Patricia (Matthew) Teitge of Kouts, 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, a sister Anne (Dan) Nash of Illinois and a brother Raymond (Janet) Oster of Portage. She was also preceded in death by her son, David Dondlinger and her parents. Ellen enjoyed quilting, sewing and many other crafts. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 30, 2017, 1-4 PM at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe St, Valparaiso with Funeral Services at 4:00 PM. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
