Glenn Allen Gustafson, 75 of Valparaiso, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017. He was born September 2, 1942 in Cairo, Illinois, the son of Glenn Franklin Gustafson and Allidean Cornett. Glenn was a US Army Veteran and was a member of the McClelland Masonic Lodge in Hobart. On September 29, 1988 in Cairo, he married Daphne Daravanis, who survives in Valparaiso. Also surviving are his sons, Robert (Cindy) Gustafson of Orland Park, IL and Chris (Heather) Gustafson of Valparaiso, 4 grandchildren, Kyle, Kody, Jacob and Ryan Gustafson, brothers, Darrell (Sharon) Gustafson of KY. and Kevin Cornett of Valparaiso and sister, Cindy Boardman of LaPorte, cousin Carolyn Ponting and friend Shirley Diggs. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Michelle Ballinger. Glenn enjoyed golf, fishing and grilling.
