Harold Allen Betz

Harold A. Betz, 90, of Valparaiso, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018. He was born January 13, 1928 in Valparaiso, the son of John and Grace Betz. Harold worked for GTE for 30 years. He married Kathryn Farrington, who preceded him in death. Surviving are his daughter Cathie Rowe, five grandchildren: Annelies Betz, Sarah (Sam) Al-Haffar, Natalie (James) Krantz, William Barker, Kody Lamb; six great-grandchildren: Kathrynn, Kailee, and Nathaniel Kappler, Farris, Shadia, and LaJayne Al-Haffar. He is preceded in death by his parents, son Robert Betz, twin brother Robert Allen Betz and sister Irmadell Morris. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 31 at 1:00 PM at BARTHOLOMEW FUNERAL HOME, 102 Monroe St. , Valparaiso. Visitation will be Wednesday, 11:00 AM until time of Service at 1:00PM. Burial will be private in Mosier Cemetery.
