James W. Walton, 86 of Valparaiso, passed away Friday, May 19, 2017. He was born October 23, 1930 in Gary, the son of William and Anna (Fabian) Walton. James was a US Air Force Veteran and a supervisor at Gary US Steel. Surviving are his children, Deborah Sexton and Gloria Gatch of Valparaiso and Eve Martel and James Walton of Florida, 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Dorothy Child and Pat Brandt of Florida and a brother Bill Walton of Boone Grove. He was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie (Petras) Walton, daughter Paula Walton, his parents and a sister Sally Singsheim. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 509 W. Division Rd, Valparaiso, IN. 46385., Fr. Doug Meyer officiating.
