John was an awesome man and a friend and patient that I always enjoyed visiting with. John had a wit and a level of wisdom that was genuine and fun and I am confident that this was a reflection of his huge heart for the people he encountered. John truly is/was the light of the world and the salt of the earth and I am grateful to have known him for all the years of our lives together. He will be missed but a man like my friend John will never be forgotten.
