Katherine Lewis, 96 of Valparaiso, passed away Friday, November 4, 2016. She was born December 3, 1919 in Chicago, the daughter of Mathew and Anna (Kostner) Mell. On August 8, 1968 in Nevada, she married Harold L. Lewis, who preceded her in death. Katherine retired as an office worker after 24 years from Ryerson-Tull. Surviving are her grandchildren, Kenneth L. Brewer and Paul J. Brewer of Valparaiso and Robin Wright of California. Kathrine was also preceded in death by her daughter Maryann Wright, her son Kenneth J. Brewer and her parents, her granddaughter Magdelene Wright and a brother. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 8, 2016, 2:00 PM until time of Funeral Services at 3:00 PM at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe St, Valparaiso.
