Marcella Hunsberger Schaeffer was born on September 12, 1926. She entered Heaven's gates on October 14, 2017. A consummate mother and homemaker, Pamela was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. She was also a sports fan and enjoyed golfing. She was a member of Valparaiso Country Club where she held several offices for the Ladies Golf Club. Marcella had an unwavering faith in God. She was a member of St. Pauls Church. Marcella is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, John A. Schaeffer. She was also Pam is survived by her sons Mark Schaeffer, Chris Schaeffer, Greg Schaeffer and daughters Karen Schaeffer and Cynthia Hansen. She had nine grandchildren, Vincent Schaeffer, Clinton Schaeffer, Johnathan Schaeffer, Mary Schaeffer, Kristan Schaeffer, Kevin Schaeffer, Kelsey Schaeffer, Kasidy Schaeffer, Greg Lopez. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at Bartholomew Funeral Home 102 Monroe St, Valparaiso, IN. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held the following day on Wednesday, Octber 18, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Pauls on Harrison St, in Valparasio, Indiana. Be still and know that I am God.
