Patricia “Patti” Jane Nemeth, 57 of Valparaiso, IN, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017. She was born May 18, 1960 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Raymond and Jane (Curley) Neist. Patti was formerly an Administrative Assistant to the Head Football Coach at Valparaiso University. She also worked in the medical field and was an usher for the Milwaukee Brewers. On May 7, 1988, in Wauwatosa, WI, she married Dr. Michael A. Nemeth, who survives in Valparaiso. Also surviving is her son, Scott Nemeth of Washington, D.C., her mother, Jane Neist of Wauwatosa, WI, her brother, Ronald (Sally) Neist of Round Lake, IL, and her sister, Susan Flatley and Tom Flatley of Wauwatosa, WI. Patti was an avid lover of sports and a passionate fundraiser for breast cancer research. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, August 4, 2017, at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church, 103 Franklin St. Valparaiso, Rev. Kevin Miller officiating.
