Ruth Galasso, 76 of Valparaiso, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017. She was born August 8, 1940 in Brownstown, Pennsylvania. Ruth was a homemaker and she enjoyed gardening and shopping. She also enjoyed helping at Our Lady of Sorrows. She is survived by her sons, Darryl (Marsha) Galasso of Valparaiso and Anthony Galasso of Michigan City, grandchildren, Tiffany and Jacob, 11 great grandchildren and a sister Matilda (Frank) Ross of Valparaiso. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Galasso, her parents, 5 brothers and 4 sisters. Visitation will be held Monday, June 19, 2017, 10 AM until time of Funeral Services at 12:00 PM at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe St. Valparaiso.
