Virginia M. Hunt, 91 of Valparaiso, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2016 at the VNA Hospice Center. She was born October 17, 1924, in Pursglove, West Virginia, the daughter of Samuel and Alice (Penfold) Barbour. Virginia retired as an inspector with McGill Manufacturing, in Valparaiso. On September 8, 1947 in Donora, Pennsylvania, she married Arthur Hunt, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter Dorean (David) Bogdanich and her son Keith (Kathy) Hunt all of Valparaiso, 5 grandchild and 4 great grandchildren. Her daughter Sherie (Larry) Lynn, her parents, 4 siblings and her special friend Don Crizer preceded her in death. Virginia enjoyed dancing, boating and cooking, Visitation will be held Monday, September 19, 2016, 4-8 PM at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe St, Valparaiso. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, at 1:30 PM at Bartholomew Funeral Home, Rev. Mark L. Dicken officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to VNA, 2401 Valley Dr. Valparaiso, IN 46383.
