Arlene Jeanette Ross, 79 of Frankfort, Indiana, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2017. She was born March 26, 1938 in LaPorte, the daughter of Carroll and Lula (Masterson) Anderson. Arlene was an Art Teacher and spent most of her teaching career in the Michigan City schools and was a member of Kendalville Presbyterian Church. On August 26, 1961 in LaPorte, she married Louis O. Ross, who preceded her in death. Surviving are her sons, Andrew (Janet) Ross of Ft. Wayne, IN. and Christopher Ross of Brazil, IN., 5 grandchildren, a brother Jim (Ronnie) Anderson of Georgia and a sister Fran (Mike) Garton, Texas. Arlene enjoyed painting, spending time with her grandchildren and volunteering time at local Libraries. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 9, 2017, 12 to 1 PM with Funeral Services at 1:00 PM at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe St, Valparaiso. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso. Memorial Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
