Bonnie J. Lewis (nee- Rusk), 84, of Hebron, passed away on February 2, 2018. She was born on September 25, 1933, in Viroqua, Wisconsin, to Seymour and Ruth Rusk. On July 27, 1952, she married Ellwood Lewis, who survives her. Bonnie worked as a C.N.A. at Canterbury Place in Valparaiso before retiring. She enjoyed watching her beloved Cubs on television. She also enjoyed spending time crocheting and collecting Snoopy collectibles. She is survived by; children Vickie Pence of Winamac, Dennis (Carole) Lewis of Hobart, Karen Lewis of Teft, Kathy (David) Davis of Schererville, Tom (Carrie) Lewis of Wanatah, Laurie (Rocky) Gourley of Winamac, Patty (Matt) Fancher of Georgia, and Mike (Mary) Lewis of Hebron, brothers Donnie Rusk of Kokomo and Larry Rusk of Wisconsin. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two children, Curtis and Ellwood Lewis.
A visitation will be held on Monday, February 5, 2018, at Bartholomew Funeral Home from 4:00 – 8:00 PM. A graveside funeral service will be held in De Soto, WI., at a later date.
