Brenda J. Kneifel, 49 of Portage, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017. She was born June 11, 1968, in Valparaiso, the daughter of Samuel and Barbara (Hill) Kneifel. Brenda worked at Thorgrens in Valparaiso, and enjoyed hand painting saws and other things. She is survived by her daughter Jamie Kneifel of Valparaiso, her mother Barbara Kneifel of Union Mills, 2 grandchildren, a sister, Tina Kneifel of Valparaiso and a brother Charles Kneifel of Union Mills. She was preceded in death by her father and brother Robert. There will be no services at this time.
