David B. Hartman, 63, of Valparaiso, passed away on November 24, 2017.

He was born on Nov.6, 1954, in South Bend, to Frank and Audrey (Leonard) Hartman, who preceded him in death.

On August 18, 1990, in Valparaiso, he married Kathy Hunsley, who survives him.  David worked as a sales driver for Southern Wine and Beverage Company.  He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Valparaiso and Sons of the American Legion #403.

He is survived by his son Alex Hartman of Valparaiso.  He is also survived by; siblings Tom (Debbie) Hartman of McHenry, Illinois, Nancy (Bob) Corcoran of LaCrosse, Janet Arnold of Valparaiso, Terrie (Brian) Hoeppner of Valparaiso, and Laurie (Tom) Hallberg of Syracuse, and many nieces and nephews.  A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at Bartholomew Funeral Home, from 3:00 – 6:00 PM, with a funeral service immediately following.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
