David Stuart Kurtz, Sr. 60 of Valparaiso, formerly of Medina, Ohio. passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019. He was born December 11, 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Michael and Ruth E. (Neil) Kurtz. David was a pipefitter with the Ford Motor Company and a Mason with the Medina Blue Lodge 58. David was also a member of the AL Koran Shrine of Broadway Heights, Ohio. Surviving is his wife Magali “Maggie” (Morales) Kurtz of Valparaiso, daughter Natalie Ann Kurtz, son David Stuart (Samantha J. Short) Kurtz, Jr, 3 grandchildren, Reese E. Schmidt, Jacob J. Schmidt and Josie Mae Kurtz and 2 brothers John M. (Virginia) Kurtz and James (Jaime) T. (Christine) Kurtz. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Carol Kurtz. Services will be held in Ohio at a later date.
