David Dean Yoder, Jr.

David D. Yoder, Jr. 44 of Valparaiso, passed away Friday, November 1, 2019. He was born May 28, 1975 in Hammond, IN to David D. and Teresa (Newton) Yoder, Sr. David is survived by his children Cody Silverthorn of Chesterton and Celestia “Tia” Yoder of Valparaiso, his parents of Valparaiso and his brother Matthew Yoder (Nikki Donahue) and family, as well as the children he raised as his own, Vega and Xavier Blossom, and their mother Vanessa. David was a proud Ironworker for local 395 and loved soccer, fishing and the great outdoors. Music followed him wherever he went and as he was Pearl Jam’s #1 fan. Visitation for David will be on Saturday, November 9th from 9:00 AM until noon with a time of sharing at noon at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe St. in Valparaiso.
