Fred Monnier, Jr. Obituary
Fred J. Monnier, Jr., 90, of Hobart, passed away June 19, 2018. He was born on April 18, 1928 in Chicago, to Fred and Dora (Iseminger) Monnier, who both preceded him in death. On October 21, 1950, he married Margaret R. Fitzgerald. He is survived by his wife; children Kathy (Howard) Heckman, Fred Monnier, Jamie (David) McElwain and Patricia (Jim) Burton. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 3 great- great grandchildren. Fred was preceded in death by daughter-in-law Anna Monnier and grandchildren Irvin Heckman and Joshua Monnier. Visitation will be held Friday, June 22, 2018, 10 AM – 12 PM at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe St. Valparaiso, with Graveside Services immediately following at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso.
