George Young Obituary

George A. Young, 88 of Valparaiso, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018. He was born May 8, 1929 in Westchester Twp., Indiana. He was the son of Val Dair and Florence (Wennerstrom) Young. George was a US Navy Veteran and graduated from Purdue University in 1967 with a Bachelors in Science with distinction. He worked as a control engineer for Bethlehem Steel before retiring. George was preceded in death by his wife Hannelore Borchers Young and his parents. There will be no services. Bartholomew Funeral Home will be handling arrangements. www.bartholomewnewhard.com.
