25 years later I am still following up on things I've learned from Mr Douglas. Manzanar N.P. in California was one of my first term papers, this past September I finally was able to visit it always thinking of you. Two years in your class and the privilege of being a teacher's aide has greatly shaped me. Thank you to the family for allowing us to be a part of the service. We wanted the Grandkids to know how large of a family Mr Douglas really had. Susan & Jeff Parker, class of '93 & '94.

I had Mr. Douglas for two years and his teaching changed my life. I thought about him many times over the years. Especially as I progressed through graduate school and became a teacher. Thank you, Mr. Douglas.

I had the privilege of being in Mr. Douglas’ class, the first year of his teaching. What a joy he was. To this day I still enjoy history. I have often wonder what happened to him. But like all of us, time slipped away. RIP, Mr. Douglas, you touch many with your gift of gab.
