James O'Hearn Obituary

James F. O’Hearn, 90, of Valparaiso, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018 at his home. He was born January 11, 1928 in Chicago Heights, Illinois. James was a US Navy Veteran and a millwright in the Sheet & Tin mill at US Steel and was a plastering contractor. On April 2, 1949 in Hobart, he married Betty J. Hess, who survives in Valparaiso. Also surviving are his daughters, Charlene Cacini of Bristol, IN, Susan O’Hearn of Valparaiso and Deborah Dault of Alabama, 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. One of James favorite past times was spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed hunting, golfing, fishing and archery. Visitation will be held Friday, November 9, 2018, 11 AM -1 PM at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe St, Valparaiso. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM at Bartholomew Funeral Home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso.
