Jesse E. Ray

Jesse E. Ray, 80 of Valparaiso, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018. He was born May 19, 1938 in Batesville, Mississippi, the son of Jesse and Virginia (Bevell) Ray. Jesse was a US Army Veteran and worked at Crown Cork & Seal. Surviving are his children, Bobby Conti and Lisa Seymour of Ohio and brothers Charlie (Betty) Ray of Plymouth and James (Janet) Ray, William Ray, Harold (Rita) Ray of Illinois, and sister Carol Ray. He was preceded in death by his wife Maria J. Ray and his parents. Jesse loved track and antique cars. Visitation will be held Monday, July 30, 2018, 10-11 AM at Bartholomew Funeral Home 102 Monroe Street, Valparaiso with Funeral Services at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Mike Eddy officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Valparaiso.
