Joan Stoner (nee Casey), of Valparaiso, age 82, passed away December 28, 2017. She was born in Chicago to Edward and Marie Casey (nee Fitzgerald) who also lived in Valparaiso most of their lives. Mrs. Stoner was preceded in death by her son, David. She is survived by her husband, Philip; daughters: Karen Stoner, Oak Park, IL and Sara (Michael) Dugan of Bradenton, FL; four grandchildren: Sonya, Nicholas, Natalie and Matthew.She loved being a homemaker, painting oils and watercolors, cooking, and beautifully decorating her home. Private services have already been held. Final resting place at Luther Cemetery, Valparaiso.
