Ruth Margaret Underwood, 88 of Valparaiso, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018. She was born December 18, 1929 in Valparaiso, the daughter of Raymond H. and Tina C. (Faulkner) Underwood. Ruth graduated from Valparaiso High School in 1949 and was a bookkeeper at Milwaukee Hospital. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Valparaiso and an Honory Life Member of the National Wildlife Federation. Surviving are 5 nieces and nephews, her beloved friend Julie Athern and her cat Oreo. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Ann C. McCasland. As per Ruth’s request, Private Services will be held.
