Theresa A. Grochowski, 76 of Portage passed away Friday, September 21, 2018 in Chicago. She was born March 19, 1942 in Gary to John and Mary (Osielck) Boynak. On December 26, 1964 she married Jerry Grochowski, Sr. who passed away July 29, 2010. Theresa is survived by her son Jerry Grochowski of Portage, her daughter Gina(Rick) Plunk of Finger, Tennessee, her grandchildren Alyssa (Chris) Reynolds and Kassy Plunk; and two great grandchildren Greyson and Aubrey. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and numerous brothers and sisters. Theresa was an avid bowler for many years and loved to go the casinos. As per Theresa’s wishes there will be no services or visitation. Bartholomew Funeral Home in Valparaiso is in charge of arrangements.
