Virginia M. Johnson, 86, of Valparaiso, passed away on November 23, 2017.  She was born on November 22, 1931, in Lowell, Indiana, to George and Florence Traster.  On August 28, 1949, in Valparaiso, she married Paul Thomas Johnson who preceded her in death in 1985. 

Virginia was a member of the Eastlake Baptist Church in Crown Point.

Virginia is survived by her children, Thomas (Linda) Johnson of Valparaiso, Versa Johnson, and Judy (Gerald) Stiles of Hammond.  She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, 2 sisters, and 2 grandchildren. 

A memorial service will take place on Saturday, December 9, 2017, at 11:00 AM, at the Eastlake Baptist Church, 7121 East Lincoln Highway, Crown Point, IN., 46307.
