Albert Shupe

Albert LeRoy Shupe, 82 of Valparaiso, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021. He was born June 24, 1939 in Valparaiso, the son of Melvin LeRoy and Cora Alice (Blevins) Shupe. On October 29, 1964, he married Vivian Jean Stevens, who preceded him in death September 18, 2021. He is survived by his children Audria Shupe of New Buffalo, Michigan, Brenda (Dwayne) Reynolds of London, Kentucky and Albert (Christina) Shupe, Jr. of Valparaiso; grandchildren Tabbatha, Mindy, Jeremy, Dustin and Shawn and great grandchildren Keaton, Eathan, Jaiden, Maison, Carsen, Luke, Liam and baby Logan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin Shupe and Cora Fox, his grandson Mathew Shupe, brother, Gene Shupe and sister, Patricia Nevills. Albert was a US Army Veteran, and auto body painter and a member of the Moose Lodge #1357. Funeral Services for Albert and Vivian will be at 11:00 AM of Thursday, September 23, 2021 with Pastor Rich Schmidt officiating at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe St. in Valparaiso. Visitation will be on Wednesday, from 5-8 PM. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso.
