Anthony Hutton, 53, died at his home in Indianapolis on Wednesday, November 8. He is survived by his three children, Alessandra, Sam and Kendall, his father, James, his brother Mike (Mary), his sister Melissa (Bob), all of Valparaiso and his brother Joe (Donna), of Vancouver, Washington, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly.
Tony was born in Valparaiso, graduating from Valparaiso High School in 1988. He attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, where he received his BS in Finance. Tony was a financial whiz, who always dreamt big and liked to swing for the fences. He hit his share of home runs.
He loved to tell long, complicated stories. He was passionate about Marquette basketball, the stock market, vinyl records and the old house he lived in that he was forever renovating. Tony was a nurturing father, who doted on his kids, and a great brother and devoted son who left this earth way too soon. A memorial celebration of Tony’s life will be held at St. Paul's at 1855 Harrison Blvd., Valparaiso, IN on Thursday, November 16. Friends and family are invited to attend a 9:00 a.m. visitation at St. Paul’s, followed by a 10:00 a.m. mass. Internment is at St. Paul’s Cemetery after mass. In lieu of flowers, consider making a donation to the Beverly Hutton Endowment Fund at St. Paul's School.
Bartholomew Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
