Ashlee M. Duttlinger aged 39 passed away peacefully at her home in Wanatah, IN. surrounded by her family. Ashlee was born September 29, 1982 in Valparaiso, IN to Dennis Hannon who preceded her in death and Carol (Lightcap) Little. On November 30, 2007 she married the love of her life, Eric Duttlinger in Valparaiso and together they had two sons, Hudson and Brooks. Also surviving Ashlee is her sister Erin (Todd) Moore of Salem, IN., nephew Caris, and niece Madelyn, stepfather David Little, mother and father-in-law Bill and Julie Duttlinger, brother-in-law Alan (Lisa) Duttlinger, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends who loved her dearly. Ashlee worked as a cosmetologist and had numerous activities and hobbies; she was very crafty, heavily involved in 4-H programs, was a Morgan Township High School dance coach, mentor to several youth in the community, gardened, cooked, baked, and planned parties. “She was pinterest before pinterest”. She also enjoyed singing, sewing, growing several acres of sunflowers and pumpkins, being the official family photographer, and decorating for the holidays, Christmas in particular. She was a “proud boy mom” and will be dearly missed in the barn while they care for their pigs and goats. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 4, 2022 from 3-7 PM at Bartholomew Funeral Home in Valparaiso, IN. The funeral will be Friday, August 5, 2022 at 11 AM also at Bartholomew Funeral Home, Pastor Chris Birky presiding, with burial to follow at Adams Cemetery.
