Benjamin Gast Obituary

Benjamin L. Gast, 87 of Valparaiso, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2020. He was born November 10, 1932 in Blue Island, Illinois, the son of Benjamin and Alice A. (Landgrebe) Gast. Benjamin was a US Army Veteran and a tool & die Manager at McGill Manufacturing. Surviving are his sons; Stanley (Sharon) Gast and Jeffrey Gast and daughter Lynda Gast, all of Valparaiso, 2 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 2 sisters; Faye V. Allen of LaGrange and Betty (Bobby) Henning of Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, May 29, 2020 at 4:00 PM at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe St. Final resting place will be Graceland Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to the N.R.A.
