Beverly Lynn (Deakin) Malone

Beverly Lynn Malone, 59, of Valparaiso, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023. She was born February 13, 1964 in Anchorage, Alaska, the daughter of Joseph and Regina (Spencer) Deakin, Jr. Beverly was a 1982 graduate from Lake Central High School and was a secretary at Union Center Elementary School for 15 years. On October 19, 1985 she married Michael Malone, who survives in Valparaiso. Also surviving is her daughter, Michelle (Nicholas) Lewandowski of Michigan, granddaughters, Emma and Layla, her parents Joseph and Regina Deakin of Schererville, siblings, Joseph (Traci) Deakin of Cedar Lake, Deborah (Jeff) Brittain of Indianapolis, Cynthia Kolicius of DeMotte and Robert (Debbie) Deakin of Fishers, nephews Joshua (Sarah) Deakin, Jacob Deakin, and Eric Deakin, father-in-law Bill Malone, nephews Zach (Ashley) Malone and Caleb Malone, great nieces Kenley and Sadey Malone, great nephew Carter Deakin, and brother-in-law Owen Malone. She was preceded in death by her son Michael Shaun Malone, Jr., mother-in-law Hazel Malone and brother-in-law Rob Kolicius. Beverly loved camping with family, boating, fishing, baking (especially with her granddaughters) and spending time in her dude garden. Beverly was the Vice President of the R-Rides car club and enjoyed cruising with her husband and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, February 20, 2023, 2:00 PM until time of Funeral Services at 4:00 PM at Bartholomew Funeral Home.
