Dolores Ann (Keller) Mercaldo

Dolores Ann (Keller) Mercaldo VALPARAISO, IN - Dolores Mercaldo, 82, of Valparaiso, passed away July 5, 2023. She was born February 17, 1941 in Philadelphia, to the late Albert Paul Keller Jr and Helen (O’Brien) Keller. While working as a dance instructor, Dolores met the love of her life Vincent James Mercaldo. They were married for 54 years. She was a devout Catholic. Dolores' greatest joy was being around her family. She loved finding reasons to gather and entertain. She was loving sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Dolores is survived by her children: Vincent, Jr (Diane), Vic (Pam), Vernon (Suzanne), Vance, and Theresa; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and her sisters Claire Hopkins, Gail Speakman, and Carol Bilbow. Dolores was preceded in death by her loving husband Vincent James Mercaldo, her sisters Alberta Patricia Keller, Helen Sullivan, Virginia Hines, Kathryn Joan Remailly, her daughter Dolores Mercaldo, and granddaughter Kelly Mercaldo. Visitation will be held on Monday July 10th 9am to 10am at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1855 W. Harrison Blvd., Valparaiso. A funeral Mass will follow visitation with Rev Roque Meraz officiating. Burial will be held at a later date
