Donna M Peres

Donna M. Peres, 81, of Valparaiso, passed away on May 14, 2023.  She was born on December 7, 1941, in Wiscasset, Maine, to Don and Mary (House) Woodbury.  For most of Donna’s career she worked as a social worker for Tradewinds and Opportunity Enterprise. She also enjoyed watching old black and white movies in her free time.  She is survived by her children Mary (Chris) Peres of Valparaiso, Edward (Phyllis) Dusard of Valparaiso, John (Tracy) Dusard of Porter, and Denise Melvin of Valparaiso.  She is also survived by her sister Maralee Jacobs of Maryland; 5 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband Pete Peres; parents and one grandchild. A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2023, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at Bartholomew Funeral Home.  The funeral will be on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at noon, at Bartholomew Funeral Home, with burial at Graceland Cemetery.
