Elaine L. (Robinson) Horan

Elaine L. Horan, 93 of Valparaiso, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2022. She was born June 13, 1929 in Valparaiso, the daughter of Joseph D. and Flossie H. (Shinabarger) Robinson. On March 5, 1949 she married Raymond L. Horan, who preceded her in death November 9, 2006. Elaine was a homemaker and a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Surviving are her sons, Thomas (Kathy) Horan, Timothy (Beth) Horan and Patrick (Sherrie) Horan all of Valparaiso, grandchildren Melanie, Stacy, Joshua, Loren, Kyle and Kody and great grandchildren, Ellie, Avery, Sybil and Collin. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Walter Robinson and sister Patricia Van Blaircom. Visitation will be held Friday, August 12, 2022, 4 to 8 PM at Bartholomew Funeral Home and Saturday, 9 to 10 AM at the church. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1855 W. Harrison Blvd, Valparaiso, Rev. Douglas Mayer officiating. Burial will be in Blachly Cemetery, Valparaiso. Memorial Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
