Elizabeth “Betty” Marie Barber (nee Dudak)

Elizabeth Barber, age 51, of Valparaiso, IN, passed away on August 18, 2023 after a brief battle with cancer. Survivors include husband, Brent; daughter, Catherine; son, Richard (Richie); parents, Kitty and Bob Dudak; sister, Irene (Reenie) (Kevin Itczak); nephews, Bobby and Matthew Itczak; in-laws, Bobbie and Richard Barber; sister in-law, Richelle (Krishna Jani); nephew, Suryan Jani; many cousins and countless friends. 

Beth was the owner of Datagraphic Printing in Chesterton and worked there for over 30 years. She was an active member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Valparaiso. Beth enjoyed camping, golf cart rides, the beach, night swims, and spending time with family and friends. She was a loving mother to her children, a faithful wife, and devoted to her entire family. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to her childrens’ education fund. 

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August  24, 2023, at Bartholomew Funeral Home, from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM.  A funeral mass will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church in Valparaiso, at 10:00 AM, on Friday, August 25, 2023, with Rev.  Douglas Mayer and Rev.
