Everett "Geno" Morris

Everett E. “Geno” Morris, 77 of Valparaiso, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020 in Portage. He was born July 15, 1942 in Hammond, Indiana to Kenneth and Mary (Dragon) Morris.  On June 12, 1976 he married Margaret Rodriguez who survives.  Also surviving are his children Jeffrey Morris of Crown Point, Indiana, Jordan Morris of Tucson, Arizona, five grandchildren Kaitlyn, Kourtney, Brandon, Brett, and Bryce; and three great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth Morris and Mary Harlow.  Everett was a U.S. Airforce veteran, a member of Life Bridge Christian Church in Valparaiso, and a master mason. Some of his favorite past times were fishing, cooking and spending time with his dogs Ruff, Trixie, Molly and Monte. Funeral services will be at 6:00 PM on Saturday, June 6th with Pastor Pete Kersker officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until the time of services at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe St. Valparaiso Indiana.
