Faith E. (Janke) Schreiber

Faith E. Schreiber, 76, of Valparaiso, IN, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, March 2, 2024. Faith was born to Norman and Virgina (Arnold) Janke on April 26th, 1947, in Pontiac Michigan. Faith earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in French Instruction. Faith was a certified Master Gardener who enjoyed growing plants and working in the garden. She was also a very active member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Valparaiso. On August 23rd, 1969 she married the love of her life, Richard Schreiber, of Valparaiso, who survives her. She is also survived by her daughter, Amanda Ballenger (Eric), of Muncie, IN. She is also survived by her sister Dawn Springer (Dale) of East Lansing, MI, and Niece, Merril Springer of Washington, D.C. Graveside services will take place at 10:00 AM, Saturday March 23rd at Memorial Park Cemetery in Valparaiso. A memorial visitation will be held April 27, 2024, 10 to 11 am at Immanuel Lutheran Church with a memorial service at 11:00 am with Pastor Andrew Fields officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to American Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation or The American Heart Association.
