Frances M (Semento) Lindsley

Frances M. Lindsley, 100, of Valparaiso, passed away on July 8, 2023.  She was born on March 28, 1923, in Chicago, to Americo and Theresa (Sciana) Semento.  Frances enjoyed working at McGill Manufacturing in the bearing division before her retirement.  She was an exceptional wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother.  She is survived by her children Michael (Ronni) Lindsley of Valparaiso, Diana “DeeDee” (Roger Casbon) Wiesjahn of Hebron, Marian “Buttons” Connors of Tennessee, and Pat (Peter) Appel of Valparaiso. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Marion “Sparky” Lindsley, her great grandson Keegan Whaling, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Bartholomew Funeral Home in Valparaiso, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.  A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 10:00 AM, at St. Paul Catholic Church.  Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to Aseracare Hospice Care, 808 Vale Park Road, Suite 200, Valparaiso, IN 46383.
