Jack R. Johnson

Jack R. Johnson, 66 of Valparaiso, passed away Monday, December 19, 2022. He was born March 16, 1956 in Merrillville, IN, the son of Royal W. and Bettie J. (Douglas) Johnson. Jack was a chemical technician at A.O.C. in Valparaiso and a Union Rep president. Surviving is his wife Vicki (Hall) Johnson, 3 daughters, Faustina (Timothy) Grigalanz of Illinois, Jamia Romero of Valparaiso and Kristal (Chris) Rada of Hobart, 8 adoring grandchildren, Izsadora Johnson, Jasmine King, Justin Robinson, Joshua Robinson, Henry Rada, Cameron Rada , Thomas Rada and Avery Schweinhagen and a niece Rachel (Tim) Oraha. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers, Robert and William Johnson. Jack loved traveling on his Harley-Davidson, fishing, camping and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2022, 3 to 5 pm at Bartholomew Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at 5:00 PM. Donations may be made to your favorite children’s hospital in Jack’s name.
