Janet Lynn Savich 82 of Valparaiso, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021. She was born September 11, 1938 in East Chicago to George and Grace (Hughes) Kosier. Janet is survived by her children George Savich and Niki Savich both of Valparaiso. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Savich and her parents. Janet was a devoted Christian who loved God and her family. She was also involved in many service activities through her life, including Bible reading to residents at nursing homes and ministering to shut-ins. A private graveside service is to be determined at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Samaritan’s Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607. Bartholomew Funeral Home in Valparaiso is in charge of arrangements.
