Janice Elaine (Williams) Bucher

Janice Elaine Bucher, 73, of Kouts, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home with her husband by her side on Friday, February 4, 2022. She was born September 2, 1948 in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of James and Hertha (Kruger) Williams who preceded in her death. 

On December 4, 1993, she married Rick Bucher, who survives and resides in Kouts. Also surviving are her 5 children, Angela (Jeffrey) Leffler of Rolling Prairie, Kevin Lipp of Aurora IL, Isaiah Long of Burns Harbor, Natalie (Matthew) Besuden of Chicago IL, and Jeremiah Long of San Jose CA, as well as Brenda Kotys, daughter in law of Valparaiso.  

Janice is also survived by her 7 beloved grandchildren: Danielle, Tanner (Brooke), Andrew, Arianna, Beau, Gisela and Azalea as well as her brothers Roger Williams of Uniontown OH, and Alan Williams of Pierceton IN.

Janice was an avid cyclist and loved traveling, photography and spending time with her family and friends.    

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022, 1pm - 4pm, with Funeral Services to follow at 4pm at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe Street, Valparaiso, IN, and officiated by Reverend Allen Wright.
