Joanna M. (Bell) Wright

Joanna M. Wright, 84, of Chesterton, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born May 3, 1936 in Hebron, Indiana to Howard and Thelma (Souther) Bell, who both preceded her in death. On March 11, 1955 in DeMotte, Indiana, she married William M. Wright who passed away on September 30, 2017. Joanna was a homemaker and loving mother who will be dearly missed by her friends and family. She is survived by her children Pat (Chuck) Glissman of Valparaiso, Randy Wright of Chesterton, Mark (Connie) Wright of Knox, and Tom (Julie) Wright of Michigan City. She is also survived by her brother Henry Eugene (Mary) Bell and sisters Barbara (Bill) Johnson, Sandra Sue (Mike) Magnum, brother-in-law Larry (Christine) Wright, 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Friday, June 26, 2020 at Bartholomew Funeral Home in Valparaiso. Visitation will be on Friday from 9:00 AM until the time of services at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso.
