Judy Kay Carpenter, 76 of Kouts, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023. She was born October 4, 1946 in Ohio, the daughter of Kenneth and Gertrude (Gardner) Edwards. Judy was a Registered Nurse and worked at Porter Memorial Community Hospital and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Surviving is her daughter Debbi (Scott) Nance of Arizona, and son Todd Carpenter of Kouts, grandchildren, Jonathan and Jessie Nance and her sister Betty Edwards. She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Carpenter, her parents and brothers Kenny and Terry Edwards. Judy enjoyed doing ceramics and knitting. There will be no services at this time.
