Obituary
Karen M. Crowe, 59 of Valparaiso, passed away Friday, February 25, 2022. She was born April 5, 1962 in Chicago, the daughter of Kenneth and Miriam (Schultz) Kreps. Karen was a medical secretary in ICU at Porter Regional for 36 years. On May 3, 1985 in Valparaiso, she married Ronald Crowe, who survives in Valparaiso. Also surviving are her sons, Jason (Kellie) Crowe of Valparaiso and Nicholas Crowe of Colorado, the light of her life and her world, her grandson Desmond Crowe, her sister Kathy Kreps and brother David (Diana) Kreps all of Valparaiso. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2022, 1pm to 4pm at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe St, Valparaiso. Memorial Donations may be made to the Porter County Humane Society.
