LaVerne Edna (Gentz) Gustafson

LaVerne Edna Gustafson, 104 of Valparaiso, passed away Friday, July 10, 2020. She was born November25, 1915 in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the daughter of Fred and Anna A. (Kluender) Gentz. LaVerne was a member of Faith Evangelical Church. On March 5, 1938 in Valparaiso, she married Elwood Carl Gustafson, who preceded her in death November 6, 2002. She is survived by her son Reginald Elwood (Iris) Gustafson, 2 grandchildren, Rachel (Alex) Pettee and Stephen (Bridget) Gustafson and 2 great grandchildren Jackson and Madeleine Pettee. She was also preceded in death by her parents, brother Wallace and sisters Irene Foster, Norma Snyder and Marjorie Johnson. Visitation will be held Tuesday July 14, 2020, 1 to 3 PM, with Funeral Services at 3:00 PM at Bartholomew Funeral Home, Rev. Larry Starett officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso.
