Lucy Lee Treadway

Lucy Lee Treadway 74 of Valparaiso, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024 in Chicago. She was born April 15, 1949 in Batesville, Arkansas to Charlie and Margaret (Robinson) Treadway. Lucy is survived by her sister Elizabeth Treadway (Jim) Nipple, Jim (Sharon) Treadway and Jerry Treadway; her nieces Tracie (Daniel) Brown and Tammy (Don) Smith; and her great niece Heidi Smith and great nephew Danny Brown. Many cousins also survive her. Preceding her in death are her parents, her brother Harry Treadway, her niece Melissa Treadway, and great nephew Joseph Brown. Lucy loved to knit & crochet, and was an avid reader. She loved meeting new people. Lucy associated and worked with raising awareness for those with disabilities. She was a pleasure for those that took care of her in her final days. Funeral services will be at 12 Noon on Saturday, March 30th at Bartholomew Funeral Home in Valparaiso. Pastor  Mitch Tabla  will officiate.  Visitation with her family will be from 10:00 AM until the time of her service at Noon. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Valparaiso.
